When saltwater fishing the main thing to consider is the components on your rod and reel. make sure the reel seat is stainless (and not wood). When researching for rods most of the time it will say in it is intended for saltwater use or not. As far as reels go just make sure you have something with a sealed drag. You can use all of your saltwater gear for freshwater just make sure you rinse your outfit off with freshwater after EVERY use in saltwater. As far as an “outfit” that would be impossible to determine without know the species of fish, and the technique you will be using. Try Orvis T3, and Ross momentum reels.
Firstly no I don’t recommend that you use the same fly rod for fresh as for salt because of the fact for fresh water they are generally allot lighter also i would recommend a 9wt rod for saltwater for playing fish such as bone fish, saltwater reels have to be large arbor design and able to hold allot of fly line and a good 100yds of backing in fact the more the better for playing big fish, for rods for saltwater i use sage, when it comes to reels i any make will do.
Any tippet material will do so long as its over 10lb i like fluorocarbon for this especially sightfree g3. You dont need any fancy tapers for saltwater fly fishing a simple weight forward will do
