Yesterday morning it was 14 degrees out at 6:45 AM while I was walking the dog, and son of a gun if turkeys weren’t gobbling down the road. Season is a long ways off yet but it was exciting to hear them.

Just think, next month the season starts down south in some states.

Well a bit warmer than 14 degrees this morning but not by much. On the way home from work across from the DEP Headquarters on RT 66 there is a flock of 30 something turkeys walking around in the snow with a few nice gobblers strutting along with them.

Man I have seen a ton of turkeys in the last few weeks here. Also cold here with more snow falling. Tonight we should just skirt above zero degrees.
