All About Bow Sights
A bow sight is a device that's mounted on the riser of your bow that helps you to aim your arrow. Much like the bead at the end of a shotgun barrel, the bow sight simply helps tell you where your arrow is pointed.
A fixed-pin sight is the most common type of sight, and the popular choice of bowhunters. A fixed-pin sight usually has 3 to 5 individual pins, which can each be set for a particular known distance.
A movable pin sight is a little different. Rather than have multiple preset pins, a movable pin sight usually has a single pin, which is adjusted before each shot.
A pendulum sight is primarily designed for tree stand bowhunters, as it helps to compensate for elevation on downhill shots. Tree stand bowhunters have always struggled to accurately judge yardage from an elevated position.
We have many Bow Sights for bow hunting to choose from. Please refine your search with our Bow Sights search engine, specifically to find the right Bow Sights that fits your needs.
