You'd think they be an easy bird to bag, but that's not the case. I've seen resident Canada geese startled by decoys -- as if their little brains had not been programmed to flock. I have a theory that resident geese must first develop that instinct to flock, and they do that in September. Of course, I have little to base my theory on, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express once or twice. But resident Canadas are a tough nut to crack. You’d think they be an easy bird to bag, but that’s not the case.
