Tree Stands That Hunters Love
Hunting tree stands are a great tool for the serious deer hunter. Black bear hunters also use tree stands to get them off the ground while hunting big game. Tree stands get you off the ground while hunting. Tree stands offer you an advantage both in sight and scent control. Areas that you hunt for deer and bear maybe too thick to hunt from the ground. A tree stand will defiantly solve that problem. Hunting from a tree stand will also allow your body scent to blow over your game. Be aware though at times down drafts will push your scent to the ground. This could ruin a perfectly good deer or bear hunt. You can also use a tree stand to hunt wild boar. Hunting tree stands must always be used according to the manufacturer's instructions in order to avoid serious injury. How do you find the best hunting tree stands? Obviously, there are many to choose from, so finding the best stand for your dollar can be a job in itself. So where is the best place to put your hunting tree stand ? For this, you need to take some things into consideration. Number one, be sure to have it set up before hunting season, because the deer will have more time to be accustomed to seeing it there, and probably won't think much of it when hunting season rolls around. If they see you setting it up right before the season begins, they will probably be sure to avoid that area while you are there , but they won't be so cautious if the stand has been up for several months before. Be sure to investigate the area you are hunting in, before putting it up, and don't just take the best tree you can find. Make sure to look around before setting it up, and find an area that is between where the deer bed and their feeding ground, as this will be the highest traveled area. Put your deer stand in a place where they won't be able to see you until they are practically on top of you. try and conceal it with branches as best as possible, and of course, be sure and wear camouflage while in your tree stand. Don’t be a flag pole ! And last but not least ALWAYS wear a safety belt of some sort while in the stand and while climbing up or down. Never carry a loaded weapon while climbing up into a tree stand or climbing down for that matter. Use common sense while hunting from a tree stand, take precautions always, be alert and your hunt should be an enjoyable one.
