This bird webcam runs most days during daylight hours ONLY, New York,USA (EST) standard time.The viewing is live and from our property in rural upstate, New York. There is no sound, just video. You will need to login in order to view the secured encrypted connection. Returning viewers may need to refresh the page to see live stream as your browser may have cache the last captured image feed. If you see the clock counting then you are viewing the live stream.
Clicking the link to the cam from within the Facebook App has known to cause error issues, so it’s best that you copy the link directly or open link with your favorite web browser.If you receive a notice of “unauthorized user” ad-blocker or a pop-up blocker installed on your browser, could be the culprit. Just try refreshing the page and you should see the login box appear.

1) No video stream or a displayed message “Device Not Connected” means the camera is in shutdown mode. Most likely experienced during nighttime hours from sunset to sunrise. Other causes could be local power or internet outage.
2) Seeing reflection of camera? This is because the camera does not have enough daylight to shut down IFR. This is most common in early morning hours when camera has boot up for daytime live viewing. Problem will correct itself 1/2 hour before sunrise.
